Inviting someone to work with you in tender, uncertain, or vulnerable areas is a brave step. To help you get to know me better, I want to share what has been the most impactful for me over the years and has influenced my work with clients.
My journey has taught me that life is not linear—it is a mysterious, meandering path that continually invites us to evolve and explore new internal and external terrain. What we might have been passionate about can begin to feel lifeless, and we are faced with a choice: to ignore what we are feeling and resist change or let go and trust. These cross-road events can challenge our need for safety and stability. It takes courage to leave behind what no longer serves us and trust the unknown. I know this terrain intimately. My path has been shaped by life-altering shifts—some chosen, others unexpected—requiring me to access deeper reservoirs of trust, resilience, and surrender.
Death has been one of my greatest teachers. In a graduate course, Death as a Spiritual Teacher, I was inspired to volunteer with Hospice, supporting people through end-of-life and grief. Later, I companioned loved ones through their dying process, learning that grief—though deeply painful—can also open us to love more deeply and live with a raw, tender aliveness.
Like most people, I have experienced trauma, and what I found is that unresolved trauma can wreak havoc in our lives. Healing from trauma can only occur when we are willing to fully feel our grief and vulnerability. When we do, we cultivate a deeper level of compassion and can access a freer, more joyful way of being. In my personal healing journey and work with clients, the most powerful modalities for addressing trauma have been a blend of shamanic soul retrieval work and IFS (Internal Family Systems) “parts” work.
Between the ages of 19 and 29, I had a series of mystical experiences that dramatically altered the course of my life. These encounters shaped who I am today and made spirituality the guiding force in my life. I began meditating, attended an Interfaith Seminary where I immersed myself in the worlds mystic traditions and became an Ordained Interfaith Minister. During silent retreats with Adyashanti, I found my meditation practice deepening, a loosening of the ego’s grip, less resistance to life’s unfolding, and a greater sense of equanimity. I am passionate about supporting others in deepening their spiritual and meditation practices so they can experience the profound benefits in their own lives.
I’ve explored altered states of consciousness while studying transpersonal psychology, through meditation, shamanic journeying, holotropic breathwork, and plant medicine. The experiences I’ve had personally have been profoundly healing. When the laws around Psilocybin changed and clinical trials demonstrated its effectiveness as a therapeutic tool I felt called to train as a psilocybin facilitator. I believe, and have witnessed, that psilocybin can be profoundly beneficial for individuals when combined with a clear intention, in a safe setting, with a trained facilitator and the correct dosage. Experiences can vary significantly, but most individuals report gaining deep insights into their life situations, experiencing a deepening of their spiritual connection, feeling a reduction in fear and anxiety as they approach the end of life, and developing an awareness of our interconnectedness with all living beings.
For those navigating major life transitions—whether facing the death of a loved one, a terminal illness, grief, career change, divorce, or a desire for deeper spiritual growth—having an experienced guide makes all the difference. My greatest strengths are holding space, being fully present, and listening deeply. With gentleness and clarity, I help you access your inner wisdom, find courage in uncertainty, and step into your next chapter with authenticity and trust.
