Life Transitions Coaching & Spiritual Coaching

Change is the one constant in life. Just like the seasons, our lives move through their own natural rhythms. These cycles invite us, sometimes gently and sometimes forcefully to let go and leave behind what no longer serves us. We can interpret these endings as a sign of failure, but in truth they are a sign of growth. In times of major life transition, it is especially vital to trust our inner knowing as we will likely encounter fear and self doubt. My coaching approach explores deeply ingrained patterns of belief that shape how we think and feel. By bringing awareness to these patterns we can loosen their hold and open a space where clarity and authentic action naturally emerge.

Energy Healing

Trauma and unresolved emotions are often stored in the body and can be hard to access through talk therapy alone. Energy healing bypasses the mind’s tendency to over-analyze or suppress difficult feelings, clearing barriers to healing. Strong emotional or physical experiences can imprint on the body’s cells and tissues (cellular memory), unconsciously shaping behavior, emotional responses, and manifesting as grief, fear, anxiety, anger, or physical pain. Trauma also dysregulates the nervous system, keeping it stuck in a chronic fight-or-flight state, which impacts long-term well-being. With four decades of experience in energy healing, I’ve found it to be a powerful tool for regulating the nervous system, releasing trauma on a somatic and energetic level, and restoring calm, emotional resilience, and clarity.

Psilocybin Assisted Therapy

Psilocybin temporarily quiets the brain’s default mode network (DMN), which is associated with repetitive and rigid thought patterns and ego identification. Psilocybin facilitates greater cognitive flexibility by enhancing communication between different areas of the brain, which allows new neural pathways to form. This increased connectivity enables new perspectives to emerge often leading to breakthroughs in emotional processing, greater self-awareness and clarity. Many people report feeling a deeper level of compassion, self-acceptance, and forgiveness. I’m a licensed Psilocybin Assisted Facilitator (see offerings).

About Jewel Lauer

I am a Licensed Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Facilitator, dedicated to supporting individuals through transformational journeys of healing. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and deeply respectful of each person’s innate inner intelligence. I believe that, when held in a safe container, altered states of consciousness can open the door to profound insights and expanded awareness. When these experiences are integrated into daily life, they can create meaningful, lasting change.

About me - I moved to Boulder to study Transpersonal Psychology in 1988 and was introduced to the work of Carl Jung, whose exploration of dreams, the unconscious and the deep inner landscape of the psyche shaped my understanding of human transformation. During my graduate studies I was also introduced to the pioneering work of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross on conscious dying and the hospice movement. I recognized the sacredness in this work and felt called to train in end-of-life and bereavement care and served as a hospice volunteer for eight years.

Both transpersonal psychology and death and dying work open portals into the spiritual dimension of human experience. They each invite us into the mystery directly. It was no surprise then, that I would immerse myself even deeper into spiritual study. I completed an Interfaith Seminary program, engaged in a 2-year mentorship training in non-dual awareness with Buddhist teacher Peter Fenner and attended numerous silent retreats with Adyashanti.

What I’ve discovered is deep transformational work requires an embodied anchor. In practical terms this means supporting the body directly through energetic attunement which can assist the nervous system in recalibrating to a state of greater ease and coherence. I trained extensively in Jin Shin Jyutsu (the Japanese healing art) with Master Mary Burmeister, and incorporated Jin Shin Jyutsu and Reiki into my private practice. I later went on to train in Shamanic Journeying and Healing Practices with Sandra Ingerman and became seasoned in accessing altered states of consciousness. My practice evolved again, and I including shamanic healing and ceremony into my work with clients.

I have shifted my practice to a coaching model recently however my approach differs from traditional coaching methods. I utilize shamanic journeying to help my clients bypass the analytical mind and access their own deeper knowing. I have found this to be the most empowering way to work with clients, guiding them into direct relationship with their own inner teachers, so they no longer need to look outside of themselves for answers and learn to trust the wisdom that arises from within.

I’ve been so fortunate to train and learn from many spiritual teachers and master healers. These lineages have profoundly shaped me and my work. I hold space for the mystery and complexity of my clients’ inner work, healing, and spiritual exploration. This is my soul’s deepest calling and is rooted in presence, deep listening, and a trust in the innate intelligence of the human spirit, mind, and body.
